New Year

Wednesday, January 18th, 2017

Happy New Year everyone! 2017! Could it be the year of the Beach Buds blog? Well, we are so busy walking dogs, changing cat litter, and feeding turtles its tough to sit down and just write. Last year we added dog training to our list of many services. It has become almost as popular as our walking service. With so few trainers based in Long Beach, this was a must have for Beach Buds! Our lead trainer, Jordan, has helped with many issues such as pulling on the leash, food aggression, and dog vs dog aggression to name a few. Beach Buds plans on doing much more with training and even some in store events. Follow us on Facebook @facebook.com/beachbudsdogwalking and Instagram @beachbuds_lb to see cute dogs and cats and some special deals.

Maggie & Westie

Wednesday, January 18th, 2012

This is the story of a new family. Maggie is the daughter pup of current client’s Monet and Troy, now 4 years old. Westie is a very grateful, recently adopted pit bull, 4 yrs as well. This new family lives in the west end of LB. The loud bark of Westie saves her owners on a home alarm but she loves Beach Buds. Maggie is as laid back as they come, jumping right back on the couch after our walk. They definitely are our Beach Buds.

Sandy

Friday, July 15th, 2011

Sandy looks a little shy in this pic but she is a playful 6 yr old Airedale Terrier from Long Beach. She loves her walks around the east end and eating a little grass once in a while. Her favorite spot is on the side of the building where she rubs against the laundry room vent blowing hot air. Sandy is a great dog and we can’t wait for our next visit.

Keep your pet cooool!

Thursday, June 9th, 2011

With the recent blazing LB weather, make sure your pet has enough water throughout the day and is kept in a cool environment. In this extreme heat, limit walks and exercise. Walking too long on hot surfaces can burn your dogs paw pads.

Beach Buds will always help turn on AC units and fans, open windows, stop by to give fresh water and even a quick hose down if needed, FREE OF CHARGE.

It already feels like the dog days of summer so give Beach Buds Dog Walking a call.
