Here at Beach Buds we provide an easy and direct way to schedule services. Our client registration is the first thing you see when you go to our site. Just add your name, email and a brief note and we’ll send you an email with instructions on how to fill out the rest. Then your ready to go. You can request walks, pet sitting or even dog training. As well, there is a conversation tab so we will send you an update every day with pictures of your pet. You can respond to us as well. This makes things run very smoothly and as we focus on your dog or cat, you know they are being well taken care of.

New Year

Wednesday, January 18th, 2017

Happy New Year everyone! 2017! Could it be the year of the Beach Buds blog? Well, we are so busy walking dogs, changing cat litter, and feeding turtles its tough to sit down and just write. Last year we added dog training to our list of many services. It has become almost as popular as our walking service. With so few trainers based in Long Beach, this was a must have for Beach Buds! Our lead trainer, Jordan, has helped with many issues such as pulling on the leash, food aggression, and dog vs dog aggression to name a few. Beach Buds plans on doing much more with training and even some in store events. Follow us on Facebook @facebook.com/beachbudsdogwalking and Instagram @beachbuds_lb to see cute dogs and cats and some special deals.

pets

We’re not the most consistent with our blog but, now we’re back at it again. Hopefully this time we can stick with it and provide a little more content. We meet tons of dog walkers nowadays and that’s great. People have so many options when they go away or work long days without feeling guilty about leaving their pet. Of course budget is important but we want to share why a professional pet sitter is so important. Yes, you can use the neighbor’s kid. Yes, you can use a family member or friend but will they do the job with the specific skills needed? As a professional pet sitter, we are there with one goal. Care for your pet as if it is our own. A professional pet sitter is not rushing so they can go out with friends or on their phone while walking the dog. They only have the interest of the dog or cat in mind. In case of an emergency, pet sitters have a set plan on the quickest way to handle things. Pet sitters will correct pet behavior issues, give pills or administer intravenous meds with no problem. This job makes the lives of pet owners easier by knowing they are in great hands. Even though your dog or cat see’s you packing a few suitcases and they know your going away, pet sitters keep that daily routine for them. We can turn lights on and off and bring in mail so your house doesn’t look empty. This post is just to share the importance of who you choose to come into your house and care for your fur baby. A professional pet sitter encourages the use of pet/nanny/security camera’s in the house so clients can see the excellent job they do. Whether you use Beach Buds or someone else, we hope this information is helpful to you or someone you know.

4 year anniversary!

Thursday, April 24th, 2014

We just want to thank everyone that has supported Beach Buds Dog Walking. If you have used us for just 1 walk or on a regular basis, we greatly appreciate it. From the beginning, Beach Buds started off with just 3 or 4 clients in one garden apartment building in Long Beach. We have luckily grown to over 200 clients in every town from Atlantic Beach to Point Lookout, Island Park to Rockville Centre. We have added two amazing walkers that are the perfect addition to Beach Buds. It really is unbelievable to see a dream become reality.

Although we are for the dogs (and cats), Beach Buds strives to provide the best customer service. The whole idea behind our company is to make your life easier. When you set up a dog walk or cat visit with us, we will be there. We love to send pics, texts and post your dog on our Facebook page.

We thank you again and will continue to provide premium service to the community we love.

Lucy in Lido

Saturday, December 17th, 2011

What a great day for a photo shoot in Lido Beach. Our subject Lucy had a great time running on the beach. She is a great model and well behaved pooch.

Chad & Molly

Tuesday, September 27th, 2011

The names sound like it should be a tv show but these dogs don’t cause drama. Chad is a big 9 year old Labradoodle and Molly is a 5 1/2 year old Yorkie. These pups are one of our first Lido clients. Chad and Molly loved seeing a new face for a walk around town. It seems like Chad loves car ride since he pulled us right towards the Beach Bud-mobile hoping we would open the door.

We’re on the road

Wednesday, July 13th, 2011

Look out for the Beach Buds-mobile driving around Long Beach and surrounding towns. In fact, if you stop us on the road and ask about our services we’ll start you off with a FREE walk. We drive a 2009 Jeep Liberty with Beach Buds magnets on both sides.
