Meet Gillis! He’s a big 2 year old English Lab from Atlantic Beach. He was so happy for his first walk with Beach Buds we could barely get his collar on. We love his big red nose that he used so well to sniff us out with.

Meet Quinn

Monday, November 21st, 2011

Quinn is a 9 year old Boxer living in the west end of Long Beach. He is a big boy but very proper on our walks. He loves walking to the park across from Beach Bagel. Quinn lives with his two cat siblings, Rocco and Trixie.

If you are a parent, teacher, staff member or somebody in town that saw our flier please know that just by signing up to Beach Buds, 25% of the profit from every walk will be donated.

Please repost this on Facebook if you could to get the word out.

A crazy day…

Wednesday, October 19th, 2011

Enjoying the rain today? We expect to be out in this weather walking awesome dogs on days like this. We don’t expect to rush dogs to the animal hospital to save their lives. Luckily he’s fine, but Max from Atlantic beach ate something he shouldn’t have on our walk today and started choking. He couldn’t close his mouth and then started pawing at his snout. We rushed him to Companion Animal Hospital and while in the car he must have coughed it back up, and then took it back down again. After x-rays and a clean bill of health we walked out doing fine. Thanks to Companions for doing a great job of caring for him.

We can only remind everyone to really watch what your dog is eating at all times on walks. This could have been a small animal bone or trash somebody left on the ground. Here is a pic we snapped of Max in his cute rain coat right before the infamous walk.

Looking foxy!

Beach Buds now walks foxes. Just kidding!! If you look at the below pic, it’s the same Pomeranian. Koda! He looks great with this short buzz cut. Very photogenic as well.

Ripley & Hooper

Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011

New to Beach Buds is Ripley ( believe it or not) and Hooper from the west end. These two young and excited mixed labs were so happy for their first walk with us. We were lucky to see them again that same afternoon. Hooper and Ripley are very healthy and have a great coat because they, like most humans, are GREEN!!! They eat a very special raw diet that keeps them in great shape.

Resident dog, Betty

Friday, July 22nd, 2011

What a cute Yorkie to see everyday. I would say Betty is the building resident mascot. She is quiet but always enjoys a pet on the head. This is her posing in the elevator. I think she missed her mom because after she did her business on our nice walk she wanted to head back ASAP.

Sandy looks a little shy in this pic but she is a playful 6 yr old Airedale Terrier from Long Beach. She loves her walks around the east end and eating a little grass once in a while. Her favorite spot is on the side of the building where she rubs against the laundry room vent blowing hot air. Sandy is a great dog and we can’t wait for our next visit.

Ivan the Terrible Great is our newest client and one of our largest. He is a beautiful weimaraner with a friendly demeanor that loves to go out for a late night 40 minute walks in Long Beach. With a family full of dogs and cats, Ivan likes some alone time as well. We had to show you a front…………..and back shot just so you can see his real proportions.

Kenneth is back!!

Sunday, June 5th, 2011

1  Summer later, 7 dog years later…… Kenneth is back to Beach Buds. We love his goofy personality and sweet demeanor. As our first Oceanside customer, we enjoy the long walks around town. This pic doesn’t show his face that well but look at the second pic in our gallery. See you soon Kenneth.

Monday, May 23rd, 2011

New to Beach Buds is Shiloh, a 3 year old rescued Boxer/Pit bull mix. She is very friendly and always ready for a walk. With lots of strength, our walk is always filled with adventure. Her fashionable aqua blue scarf gets her all the attention she wants from Long Beach friends.
