It’s Fall

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2014

autumn-dogsWe haven’t posted in a long time. We’ll be back at it for sure. Today is the first day of Fall. It’s a great time for dog walking. The temps are just right and dogs don’t feel to hot or cold. We could walk all day, and we do, but your dog will always let us know when they’re done. We look forward to seeing costumes on our puppies for Halloween. Maybe we’ll even have a Beach Buds Halloween Party. Stay tuned!

4 year anniversary!

Thursday, April 24th, 2014

We just want to thank everyone that has supported Beach Buds Dog Walking. If you have used us for just 1 walk or on a regular basis, we greatly appreciate it. From the beginning, Beach Buds started off with just 3 or 4 clients in one garden apartment building in Long Beach. We have luckily grown to over 200 clients in every town from Atlantic Beach to Point Lookout, Island Park to Rockville Centre. We have added two amazing walkers that are the perfect addition to Beach Buds. It really is unbelievable to see a dream become reality.

Although we are for the dogs (and cats), Beach Buds strives to provide the best customer service. The whole idea behind our company is to make your life easier. When you set up a dog walk or cat visit with us, we will be there. We love to send pics, texts and post your dog on our Facebook page.

We thank you again and will continue to provide premium service to the community we love.

Some new, some old

Tuesday, May 1st, 2012

Just a few of our newest clients and some of the old ones.

Friday, April 6th, 2012

Can you see the similarities here? They are both fast and intimidating! We have the pleasure of taking care of at least one of them. Enzo from Atlantic Beach is a beautiful 2 year old Doberman. He had a great time with Beach Buds and we can’t wait to dog sit for him again.

Mush & Fang

Thursday, December 29th, 2011

Two 5 month old puppies? Check

One is a Labradoodle with messy hair? Check

The other, a sharp looking white German Shepard? Check

Mush and Fang are their names. She is a …. well Mush. Loveable, playful and excited to see Beach Buds. Fang, alert with a great guard dog bark. Christmas weekend we got to dog sit for these two. They love to gobble up their food and play fetch in the backyard. Look out for these guys in LB.
This pic is great because when I first met them I never thought they would stand still for two seconds. They are very well trained and camera ready!

Monday, November 28th, 2011

East end Lila, had her first dog sitting experience with Beach Buds. She is a beautiful Australian Cattle dog mix. At 9 years old, she still had plenty of energy to jump around as we walked in. Lila loved jumping on the couch for a good scratch after our walks and even gave a model look when we snapped this pic. With great weather this weekend, we went on some really nice walks during the day.

Cookemo & Smeagol

Wednesday, November 9th, 2011

This is Cookemo, a beautiful Dutch Shepard. This is Smeagol, a beautiful Persian cat.

These Long Beachers gave Beach Buds a really easy pet sitting job this week. Cookemo was friendly and polite as we walked around the west end. Smeagol, with her “lion cut” haircut, was outside all day but ready and waiting for breakfast and dinners. We look forward to seeing these two again.

Action Jaxon

Tuesday, September 27th, 2011

Jaxon is a 1 year old Havanese from the Canals of Long Beach. A close friend to Beach Buds already, Jaxon has a great coloring and a playful personailty. He got only the best dog sitting treatment that every client gets. Hope to see you soon Jax!

Beach Buds has a lot of dog walking customers in Long Beach but we also travel to Atlantic Beach and all the way across the island to Point Lookout. We don’t mind driving up Long Beach Rd into Oceanside and Rockville Centre. Even Merrick and Bellmore is not to far. If you are outside of these areas give us a call and we will try our best to help out.

If your coming into Long Beach for the day we can always provide daily dog sitting with overnight services as well.

Call us for weekend vacations

Thursday, April 7th, 2011

From experience, dogs get sick and dirty after a long weekend at the kennel. You don’t have to put your dog in an uncomfortable environment. Beach Buds makes it so easy. We can come to your home as many times as needed to feed, walk and play with your dog. We have tons of experience and promise your dog will be very happy.

Additional services

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

Beach Buds loves to walk your dog but we do soooo much more. Going away for an end of the summer vacation? We can watch Fawn while you enjoy your relaxation. We can come 3 times a day (or more if needed) to feed, walk and play with your dog. What about when Mocha and Riley need a new hairdo? Beach Buds can do it! We’ll take them and pick them up with no hassle at all. We can suggest a few groomers so this won’t happen.

We can also be driving Ms. Daisy to the vet, dog parks or just a enjoyable car ride. Last but not least, we also pick up poop. Yes we said it. Schedule us to do an early morning thorough yard inspection so you won’t be stepping on something while you enjoy the weekend weather.
